Yes that's right..I'll try to give Latin lessons! :3 Since there aren't so many resources out there I want to help and contribute to the small growing stack of Latin lessons on the web. In Latin there are no articles such as: the, a, an. Therefore when translating you must put in those articles yourself whenever necessary. In Latin the order of the words do not matter. As a matter of fact the way they are spelled tells you their meaning. The alphabet is like the English language in a way. They are identical. However there isn't a j and w in Latin. Latin uses i for i and j. V is for v and w. The letter k is used in Latin but it is rare. There is also y and z which was taken from Greek.

Pronunciation
c and h are pronounced like k as in coop. t is always like t as in talk, not like sh. g is always hard as in go. v is always pronounced like w as in woman. i is pronounced like y as in you. x is like x as in axe. s is always pronounced like s as in so not like z. gu, qu are like gw, qw as in queen.
ae pronounced ai, as in aisle. oe pronounced oi as in soil. au pronounced ou as in ouch. ui pronounced we as in we. ei pronounced ei as in eight.
